ICF International: An Evaluation of Potential Demand for Renewable Generation

Greenpeace commissioned ICF International to conduct this comparative analysis of renewable generation requirements under the proposed H.R. 2454 (Waxman-Markey) and renewable generation requirements under existing state standards. The resulting report shows that demand for renewable generation under a federal standard falls short of demand projected under existing state programs.

PointCarbon: Analysis of allowance allocations within Waxman-Markey

Greenpeace commissioned Point Carbon to assess the allowance allocations put forth by H.R. 2454 (Waxman-Markey). Among other findings, the report reveals that the bill provides significant financial funding for coal, and heavily incentivizes CCS based coal facilities.

Greenpeace therefore commissioned the economic modeling experts at KEA3 to examine the impacts of including REDD in the carbon markets.
