Our search for green electronics continued when we bought and (gasp) promptly sent one of each of the 3 game consoles to our science labs for testing. Our analysis found that all the consoles tested positive for various hazardous chemicals, but it also showed that game manufacturers could easily replace their own dirty components with toxic free materials - 'because their competitors, in most cases, already were doing so.
