We are looking for archival film footage, photos, or any memorabilia of a Greenpeace Benefit Concert performed by Joni Mitchell, James Taylor, the late Phil Ochs and Chilliwack, at the PNE in Vancouver, BC, on October 16, 1970. It was a brilliant concert. The $17,000 raised enabled Greenpeace to launch our first action, a legendary voyage in a fishing trawler to the Aleutian Islands to protest Richard Nixon’s underground nuclear bomb tests.

The exciting prospects of packaging this concert and making it available to members around the world are well within our reach. If you were at the concert and have a story to tell, or know someone who was, and you think you might know the whereabouts of buried archival treasures, we want to talk to you.
