Greenpeace
is an independent campaigning organisation which uses Non Violent
Direct Action to expose global environmental problems and to force
solutions towards a green and peaceful future. This is an exciting
opportunity to join our Actions team and contribute to the success of
our campaigns.
The
Warehouse Manager will further Greenpeace's campaign objectives
through ensuring the availability and reliability of essential
equipment. Other responsibilities include ensuring the health and
safety of all individuals using the Greenpeace warehouse, maintaining
an up-to-date equipment inventory database and files on equipment
identification and location as well as developing and maintaining
systems and policies for the use of the warehouse and its equipment.
To
apply for this position you will need to have experience in managing
a warehouse or other projects, an understanding of the maintenance
requirements of vehicles, boats and other equipment as well as good
organisation and planning skills. You should also have current
driving and Forklift licences, the ability to work well under
pressure, training in health and safety issues relating to warehouse
environments and a commitment to the ideals of Greenpeace.

This
is a full-time (35 hours per week) permanent position based in
Botany, Sydney.
